With the announcement of Visual Studio 2010 yesterday (19/10/09), Microsoft also announced it will soon release a beta version of Office 2010 in November 2009.
Application Developer has published an overview of technologies that are limited in July and plans to release a final version next year. Also, developers have begun to test the web based version of the “Office Web Apps” in September 2009 last month.
At the SharePoint conference also raised some new features of the new generation of the portal application, which next month will enter its beta version.
This latest version includes the Office Ribbon user interface that already supports the use of video, audio and Silverlight. The programmer will also develop SharePoint site using the latest generation of Visual Studio, which will enter beta this week, too.
SharePoint is the main product of Microsoft as one of their fast-growing businesses that generated $ 1.3 billion and increased to 20 per cent of its profits for the past 1 year.
“SharePoint 2010 is the largest and most importantly to be released,” said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. “When combined with Microsoft Office 2010, SharePoint 2010 will be transformed into a more effective means of linking workers with a special platform for collaboration for the future of big business.”
