Consumers graze ‘news online before newspapers

News Online wins and third among consumers by TV news, but ahead of print and radio. The Internet is growing with consumers of news – but 92 percent of Americans use multiple platforms to their daily dose of news, sports and weather. So concludes a new survey by the Pew Research Center Internet & American Life Project and the Project for Excellence in Journalism.

The investigation revealed that the Internet is the third most popular platform of the messages behind the new local and national television and before the national press, local newspapers and radio.
